Albany High school vote was flawed, 101 say Saturday

Reports of crowding and confusion at polling places, however, raised calls for a revote.

State Education Commissioner MaryEllen Elia said Friday that the city will postpone plans for a new high school until she decided whether the Feb. 9 vote should stand.

The Saturday event, organized by Conners, was a “relief” for many voters on both sides of the aisle, said spokesman Glen Casey at the Albany Elks Club on Saturday.
