Person hit by car on Albany's New Scotland Avenue
ALBANY — Albany police responded to a pedestrian involved car accident on New Scotland Avenue at 4:50 p.m. Wednesday, Officer Steve Smith said.
A 26-year-old man was struck by a car and was taken to Albany Med in serious condition, Smith said. The driver stopped after the crash.
The crash occurred New Scotland Avenue near the intersection with South Manning Boulevard.
As of 6:30 p.m New Scotland Avenue is still closed between South Allen and South Manning as police investigate the crash, Smith said.
