Frances L. Fowler

Lorraine- Mrs. Frances L. Fowler, age 84, of County Rte. 93, died Sunday at the Samaritan Medical Center. There will be no services at this time.

The family will have a Celebration of Life in the Spring to coincide with the burial at a time and place to be announced.

Frances was born April 21st, 1932, in Oswego, the daughter of Frank and Emma Fagan Fowler. She attended Red Creek and graduated from Oswego High School.

On June 14th, 1953, she married Floyd Fowler in Lorraine.

She worked for a time at Faichney Instruments in Watertown, but was mainly a housewife.

Frances enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, hand sewing, and making her children’s clothes.

Surviving is her husband Floyd; three sons, Floyd R. of Heuvelton, Clarence, and Randy with his fiancé Shelley Hamson, all of Lorraine; four daughters, Sherry (Ross) Petrie of Lorraine, Stacey (Vick) Pitkin of Adams, Dawn Fowler and her fiancé Lynn Burnham of Lorraine, and Sandra (Daniel) Clark of Lorraine; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren that are on the way; one brother Francis Bill Colb of Fulton; two stepbrothers, Frederick (Peggy) Parrow of Missouri, and Gerald (Linda) Parrow of Martville; one sister, Marie Bowdery of Pennsylvania; a stepsister, Agnes (Daniel) LeMay; nieces and nephews.

One stepbrother, James Parrow, died before her.

Donations can be made in her name to the Lorraine Volunteer Fire Department or the Lorraine United Methodist Church.

Arrangements are with the TLC Funeral Home in Watertown.
