Troopers hunt clues in death at motel owned by limo owner

WILTON – State Police remain at the scene of a suspicious death at a motel owned by the man whose limousine crashed in Schoharie Saturday, killing 20 people.

Troopers said they were initially called to the Crest Inn to investigate an “unattended death” on Wednesday but deemed the death “suspicious” after investigating.

So far, investigators have not released the identity of the dead.
