11 arrested in Tioga County as part of multi-month drug investigation

TIOGA COUNTY (WBNG) — Nearly a dozen people were arrested over a four-day span as part of an investigation into drug sales in Tioga County.

The Tioga County District Attorney notes that between Monday and Friday, 11 people were taken into custody and processed on felony indictments in Tioga County Court.

The indictments are part of an investigation into a multi-month investigation into the sales and distribution of heroin, meth, and prescription pills in Tioga County.

New York State Police, Tioga County Sheriff’s Office, Waverly Police Department, Owego Police Department, Spencer Police Department, and Candor Police Department all took part in the investigation.

Curtis Carnrike, 27, Waverly

  • Charged on six-count indictment for sale of heroin in two different states

Melissa Bright, 41, Waverly

  • Charged on six-count indictment for sale of heroin in two different states

Jason Deskin, 41, Owego

  • Charged with and pleaded guilty to two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree, class B felonies. He will be sentenced on December 3.

Craig Franks, 54, Waverly

  • Charged on six-count indictment for sale of heroin in two different states

Delvin Jackson, 49, Waverly

  • Charged on two-count indictment for sale of Buprenorophine

Michael Saunders, 39, Waverly

  • Charged on 22-count indictment for sale of heroin on six dates and possessing heroin with the intent to sell.

David Stevenson, 42, Waverly

  • Charged on three-count indictment for sale of heroin

Kevin Stoudt, 40, Owego

  • Charged on six-count indictment for sale of heroin and meth

Kristi Vallequette, 39, Waverly

  • Charged on seven-count indictment for selling heroin and possessing heroine with the intent to sell

Daniel Webb, 33, Owego

  • Charged on a three-count indictment for the sale of meth. Also charged on a separate three-count indictment for the burglary of a residence in Owego, damage to property during the burglary, and possession of meth

James Wilson, 37, Owego

  • Charged on three count indictment for the sale of heroin
