NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WBNG) — President Donald Trump’s son is paying a visit to upstate New York to support Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (R).

According to the U.S. Representative’s campaign, Eric Trump will attend a rally for Congresswoman Tenney at the Republican National Committee headquarters in New Hartford.

Rep. Tenney will run against her challenger, New York State Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi (D), in November’s general election.

Several high-profile Republicans have traveled to New York in recent months to offer their support for Rep. Tenney.

Just last week, House Speaker Paul Ryan attended a fundraiser in Binghamton for Congresswoman Tenney.

President Trump visited Utica in August, also to fundraise for the congresswoman, as did Vice President Mike Pence in June.
