Village of Carthage seeks part-time clerk

CARTHAGE — The village is accepting applications for a part-time clerk position. This position is responsible for the performance of clerical duties within the village clerk’s office, to include answering and directing telephone calls, data entry, accepting payments for village services, filing and providing customer service. Applicants must possess a high school or equivalency diploma. Applications may be obtained at villageofcarthageny.com or picked up at the village clerk’s office and forwarded with three letters of references to: Kristy O’Shaughnessy, 120 S. Mechanic St., Carthage, NY 13619. Applications must be received by Dec. 28. Preference will be given to village of Carthage residents.
