Binghamton After Dark hosts a series of holiday horror movie nights

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — A group of movie lovers are getting into the holiday spirit by watching films some might not at first associate with Christmas.

The Binghamton After Dark (or B.A.D.) movie club all got together at the Bundy Museum Friday night to check out “A Christmas Horror Story.”

It’s a horror flick featuring ghosts, zombie elves, and an evil Santa, all narrated by William Shatner.

This is the second of three monthly screenings in their series of holiday horror films.

“Horror is just an amazing genre,” says host Doug Bush. “I’m a horror filmmaker, I love horror films, and there’s one for whatever season it is, whatever month it is, whatever subtopic you like, you can find something on it.”

The screenings are more than just a fun night out. Every five dollar admission sold gets donated right back to the Bundy Museum.

If you’d like to check out the next one, January 11th will be their final holiday horror film screening.

After that , they go back to their regular showings of a variety of horror films shown at the Bundy Museum every second Friday of the month.
