ENDWELL (WBNG) — Students in Broome-Tioga BOCES New Visions Law and Government academy are hard at work preparing presentations for the international fair.

Friday morning at Maine-Endwell High School, the students were polishing their presentations.

The students chose international organizations that interested them and prepared a poster board of information to be shared.

The students will represent foreign countries and were asked to make info pamphlets about their delegation.

“My project is WHO, the world health organization, so we are informing the members that come to the international fair about what the world health organization does, what they do to help citizens around the world have safer lives, things like that, ” Said Chenango Valley Senior Katerina Retzlaff.

“I will be representing the Russian Federation,” she added

The represented countries were based on the local diverse population that immigrated to Broome county. All majority populations will be represented at the International Fair.

The International Fair takes place at the American Civic Association in Binghamton on Jan. 28.

Students will be there from 9 to 11:30 a.m. After their presentations, the ACA will have an immigration lawyer give a presentation on how to become an american citizen.
